Anastasia's Medical Fund
A few words from Salome
In April, 2015 this tiny smiling creature - Anastasiia Berestenko, 6 (from Kyiv, Ukraine) was diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma (early stage). She was taken to Nuremburg, Germany for cancer treatment. After 4 months of chemotherapy courses, we were all happy, thought that the disease was finally defeated... 7 months passed with the hope that everything will be ok with Anastasiia, believing that all the pain she had endured was not in vain…
Anastasiia continued to visit the doctor on a monthly basis for medical checkups. The tests scheduled in February showed terrifying results, recurrence was confirmed … Desperate doctors seeking the way to proceed the treatment, suggested bone marrow transplantation which has an huge cost.
The cost is incredible for one ordinary human being, but if we stay all together, if we try all together, if none of us ignores and helps, this beautiful child will survive.
