Help My Grandparents
Donation protected
Early this morning, July 5th, my grandparents lost their entire house to a fire. They've lost absolutely everything except their truck and the clothes on their backs.
Alan and Ione Jackson, 78 and 75 years old, had lived in that home for over 30 years. Both of them are veterans, and were stationed in Subic Bay. They moved into their house in Rapid City, South Dakota, shortly after they adopted my dad and my aunt from the Philippines.
Since then, that house has seen many pets in need of a home, family portraits, a lot of coffee, toys, quilts, VHS movies and food. That house has raised three grandchildren, and now two great grandchildren.
For over 30 years, that has been filled with nothing but love. All because of my amazing grandparents. Their kind souls, their whole lives, have done nothing but go out of their way and help anyone in need, the best they could. I can definitely say they have had a huge impact on my life, and I'll do anything for them. Now it's my turn to return the favor.
I've started this GoFundMe, in hopes to help them in any way possible. I wasn't quite sure what to set the goal, but it's something to help them get by for now. Enough for a temporary home, food, clothing, medicine, and other things they may need. Really, anything will help. My family and I really appreciate all of your help. We hope you have a blessed day, and god bless.
