You are invited to attend QPOW’s very first Virtual Speaker Series this January the 30th and 31st, 2021! QPOW (Queen’s Powerlifting and Olympic Weightlifting) is a club based in Kingston, ON at Queen’s University. Our mission is to light the fire that drives self-improvement mentally and physically surrounding barbell sport. We believe that through this empowerment, we will form important building blocks that shape our character while providing a foundation for a passionate community at Queen’s!

Jan 30th (3pm) - Jessica Buettner, Christine Castro, Simone Lai

Jan 31 (12pm) - Jen Thompson

You are not required to attend all talks - it is completely up to your discretion to pick and choose which you would like to attend!
What’s more, we have an incredible list of sponsors donating prizes to this event that YOU stand the chance to win with your donation! We have amazing brands such as Inner Strength, Obsidian Ammonia, Afterburn Barbell, Gladiator Nutrition and The Push-Pull Co. providing a full stack of amazing prizes such as supplements, gift cards, smelling salts, merch and more!
QPOW has had a longstanding history of wanting to give back and support the growth of fitness accessibility around the world. We are donating 10% of proceeds from this event to Steve’s Club National Program. Their vision is to improve the lives of at-risk, underserved or disadvantaged youth through interaction with positive members of the community in a fitness setting. Steve’s Club allows these youth to join in the fitness community at a reduced, low or no cost structure.
