Racquelle Burdick, accident expense fund

On November 14 , 2020 Racquelle was in a car accident. She was transported to Holland Hospital, but needed more care than what they could give. She was then transported to Helen Devos Children’s Hospital.  While there she needed two different surgeries. The first to repair her broken tibia and fibula, by inserting a rod and pins. Her second surgery was to repair her shattered pelvis, by placing rods and screws to hold her pelvis together. She is getting ready to move to Mary Free Bed for therapy over the next 3-4 weeks. She will require months of outpatient therapy as well. We would like to support her and her family as they navigate missing work, along with many hours traveling to Grand Rapids. 

I am Corla Wedeven, my family got to know Racquelle at Hamilton Community Schools. My family and Racquelle's family live in Hamilton, Michigan. Our family grew especially close to Racquelle this past spring, during quarantine.  Since then Racquelle knows that she is an official member of our family.   The reason we started this Go Fund Me account is to help Racquelle's mom pay for medical expenses that she will incur out of pocket.  Our plan will be to deposit the money into Racquelle's family bank account, that they can use this money to cover the bills that exceed what insurance will cover.
