Casey's Final Expenses

Hi. My name is Brenna Thomas, and I am trying to raise money to help pay for some of the final expenses of my younger brother, Casey Thomas. I am currently seeking $5,000 to cover the cost of a graveyard plot and headstone. I will need the money by January 9, 2016.
Casey was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was nine years old. He spent the next 18 years struggling to keep the disease under control, until he lost the battle on December 30, 2015. We originially found him without a heartbeat and not breathing on Christmas Day 2015. It took 40 minutes to bring his heart back. He was cooled to a hyperthermic state to try and preserve brain function for 24 hours, but that was ineffective. Those 40 minutes without oxygen were too much for his brain to handle. The pressure inside his skull was so great that it even ruptured an eardrum and caused it to bleed. On December 30, 2015, doctors officially declared Casey dead.
For his entire life, Casey has always been one to help others without ever asking for anything in return. He would always help our neighbors, whether it was to mow their lawns in the summer or shovel the snow in the winter. He was not happy unless he was helping someone else. Now, in his death, we are allowing him to help others by giving them the gift of life and donating any of his organs that are viable. Casey would want this for himself.
However, we find that due to the suddenness of these circumstances, we are unable to to pay for all of Casey's final expenses. I, his sister, am asking that you find generosity equal to his own and help us give him best way we know how to honor his life, without having to worry about finances.
I cannot even begin to describe how thankful my family and I will be to have some of the burden of final expenses alleviated because of your generosity.
