Hi, my name is Katrina Deminski, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help.

On May 28, 2025 my best friend Haley Rodger was involved in a devastating accident that changed her life in an instant. She was hit by a car and in a split second, everything was turned upside down — what should have been a normal day became a nightmare that none of us were prepared for.

Haley is one of the most kind-hearted, selfless, and vibrant souls you could ever meet. The kind of person who lights up a room just by being in it, who would drop everything to help someone else in need.

The accident left Haley with several broken bones including a broken pelvis, multiple fractures, broken ankle, internal injuries, and a head injury. Requiring immediate emergency care, multiple surgeries, and now, a long and uncertain road to recovery. Every day is a challenge — physically, emotionally, and financially.

Between hospital stays, surgeries, physical therapy, medical equipment, and follow-up care, the medical bills are piling up rapidly. Insurance can only cover so much, and the out-of-pocket costs are staggering. On top of that, Haley is unable to work during this time and will likely need support well into the future.
