We're Stuck!!

Hey y'all.

I'm definitely swallowing my pride on this one. This summer has been super hard and we're in a bind. We have two vehicles but now both of them need repairs. Neither are driveable. Andy keeps having to miss work because of transportation, so it's been hard to save the money to fix anything. It's like we're stuck. It's it's so exhausting and draining emotionally and mentally. I also plan on going back to work next month when school is in and neither of us are going to be able to consistently get to work without transportation. And the boys will need to get to school in less than a month as well. We are "out of district" and if they miss too many days due to transportation, they will be forced to switch to the school that is closer. This would be devastating for them because they love their friends and educators that have been with them since kindergarten.

We haven't been able to give them a very good summer because of these car problems. There's so many things we had planned and they have been upset about not being able to do any of them.

Also, Andy has therapy and doctor's appointments that he needs to be able to get to.

We're at a loss. We just want to be able to do what we need to do, and give the kids experiences. Any funds donated will go directly to getting our cars fixed and safe.

Doing this is very much out of our comfort zone and embarrassing. I just don't know what else to do. We can even try to pay it back or pay it forward when we get ahead.
