Hi! I am Emma Nash and my boyfriend is Jacob Kinney and we are the proud but extremely worried parents of Kylio james Kinney . Kylio made his entrance on August 28th 2025 at just 25 weeks and weighing a tiny 1 pound 12 ounces. It was on Wednesday just a few days after a check up where everything was fine and I was in a lot of pain. After talking around I thought it was just Braxton hicks so I was just trying push through thinking ouch if these are just false contractions what will the real ones be like! Fast forward a little bit and I end up going to the hospital because these are intense while at the hospital they realized at just 25 weeks and 1 day gestation I was in full blown labor. The hospital in Tiffin NICU is only equipped for 32 weeks and up; So, I get transported to St Vincents in Toledo an hour away from home. They do everything they can to try to stop my labor, but I am dilated to 2 cm already and nothing is working. After they have done everything they can to stop my labor and nothing is working Kylio was born at 10:23 pm, being taken immediately from us and straight to NICU in critical condition. Kylio Is currently on a ventilator being a tiny warrior; and we were nowhere near ready for him to make his appearance yet.

With this unexpected early entrance, I was not saved up for maternity leave yet and we were working to save up for a car. Now my son is an hour away from me and I have no way to get back and forth when I live an hour away from him. We did get approved to stay in the Home Away from Home program but that doesn’t provide food for us and doesn’t help with transportation on top of not knowing what upcoming challenges Kylio is going to face as he wasn’t due until December 10th and will not be able to come home until then. If you can please help donate to us to help get a car to make getting around toledo and back and forth to home easier, help us get food, and get all of the things that a micro preemie will need we would be forever grateful.
