Travis and Rebecca's accident
Donation protected
Friends,
As some of you already know, Travis and I were involved in a freak ATV accident last month while motoring around our family reunion. Travis sustained a head injury and some road rash and I was life flights to the hospital with 3 broken limbs and extensive road rash. Thankfully our baby girl (6 months gestation) was un-injured and proved to be healthy and strong at the hospital. Travis has almost fully recovered and is back at work while I am on a longer road to recovery. Our aunt Jane generously donated the last 2 weeks of her time to providing me with assistance at home with our 2 year old, Austin, and making sure I am fed, bathed, and can access the ladies room. Sadly, she has to return to Houston to go back to work leaving me in need of a home care provider. This unexpected situation has proved a bit more financially taxing than we can handle. All of our resources have been going toward providing for our new baby. The social worker at the hospital has informed us that my insurance will not cover the expenses for home health and Travis' insurance has a ridiculous deductible. As we have exhausted all of our options, it is with great humility that I now ask you, our friends, to assist us with what you can in our time of need. This has been an extremely humbling yet growing experience for our little family. It has brought us together and shown us that life is precious and family is everything. Thank you in advance for any contribution, no matter the amount. Please know that it will make a world of difference.
