Anthony Curton Playground Fund

Dear Supporters,

Following a health and safety inspection last year, the existing trim trail in the playground of our school was deemed unsafe and not fit for purpose.

The main playground in the school also suffers from a pretty major flooding issue, which prevents the children from being able to use a large area of the playground whenever there is heavy rainfall.

During the winter months and wet weather, the school field would also be out of bounds as it’s muddy. So, with the flooding and the trim trail being condemned, the children's playtime can be very restricted.

With such tight budgets in education, we have decided to try and raise the money we need to provide the children with a bigger and better piece of play equipment that will make their playtimes much more fun!

Physical exercise is vital for children’s growth and development and we want to create an environment where they can share laughs, build social skills and create incredible memories.

Our chosen design allows a whole class to play on it at one time-helping build friendships. It also comes with an all-weather base, making it much more accessible and is built using premium, long-lasting materials that will stand the test of time for our children now and for many years to come.

Childhood memories are often centred around playtime experiences. We want our students to look back on their time at Anthony Curton with joy and nostalgia.

To turn this dream into reality, we are seeking your generous support. Every pound donated brings us one step closer to providing our students with an exceptional play area. Your contributions will go directly towards the purchase of safe and engaging play equipment, installation costs, landscaping and necessary safety measures.
