Let's Help Amy Get Back on Her Feet

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

I'm reaching out today on behalf of my best friend, Amy VanCamp, who is currently facing a series of unimaginable challenges that have left her in desperate need of our support and love.

Life can take unexpected turns, and Amy has been grappling with a string of unfortunate events that have tested her resilience in ways none of us could have foreseen. Recently, she started experiencing “mini strokes”, which were initially believed to be caused by high blood pressure that has proven difficult to control. Now, doctors suspect there may be underlying issues complicating her health. Unfortunately, our local hospitals lack the necessary testing capabilities to fully diagnose her and create a treatment plan that can put her on the path to recovery.

She was referred to The Mayo Clinic however, due to insurance complications, Amy is required to put down a medical deposit of $5,000 to access the care and expertise she needs and deserves.

As if these health challenges weren't enough, last week, she fell and sustained a severe fracture to her tibia and fibula, requiring immediate major surgery. After surgery, she will require 24/7 skilled nursing care for approximately six weeks to ensure a full and safe recovery.
