Hi, my name is Kim, and I am setting up this fundraiser on behalf of my co-worker and friend, Melissa.

Melissa was recently diagnosed with cancer and will be undergoing surgery in late September. As you can imagine, this has been a very difficult time for her and her family. While she focuses on healing, we would like to come together to help ease the financial strain that comes with treatment and time away from work.

The funds raised will go directly towards covering medical expenses, recovery costs and other needs during this time. Any amount, big or small will help make a difference and help relieve the stress that Melissa is facing.
