Kills me inside to be writing this.
Early 2022 my mother was diagnosed with every diagnosis related to abdominal pain in before finally learning the real diagnosis.
Also known as The Silent Killer.
PANCREATIC CANCER
A tumour was located attached around a main artery to her heart.
Mom was immediately put off work, and within a short period of time she became very sick, very jaundice and very itchy. A stint was then put in to help with the jaundice and itch.
After suffering from severe chronic pain after many hard long and dreadful months they finally began the Chemo process.
The Chemo was really, really hard on my mothers body. It literally sucked the life out of her.
Unfortunately the Chemo didn't quite shrink the tumour meaning a second round would be needed. A more aggressive round of Chemo to try again,
Jan 3rd was that day.
However, My mothers body became so weak and malnourished from suffering from the pain, they decided to cancel the Chemo treatment until she was stronger.
As time ticked away waiting for this test result and that test results, so did my mothers health... rapidly.
Fast forward to today .. Middle of March. Mom will be admitted to the hospital for some care to help get her back on chemo .
Hopefully they can help her become strong enough to be able to receive treatment. If she receives the Chemo treatment and it shrinks the tumour enough she can finally get surgery to remove the tumour.
Due to my mothers health declining so rapidly my father has without a doubt stepped up to his new role as her #1 care giver ( he is self employed) working very minimal hours here and there at most.
These funds will help them relieve some of the financial stress off them .
With her being admitted these minimal hours will turn into zero hours while he stands behind his wife like a sword during the most terrifying battle of her life.
I want to help them so bad.
That's my mom.
She's misses her life.
She misses her grandkids
She misses work and all the people.
And we all miss her too.
So here is me, asking for your help.
Any support you can offer whether it’s a donation or sharing this with your friends and family , it would be greatly appreciated.
Whether she gets to return home in the near future or in a hospital room it may be, it would warm many hearts and we can’t thank you enough .
Thank you for reading ,

***UPDATE***
As of yesterday March 22nd, we received news that my mothers cancer has spread.
We were also informed that there is no more treatment options for her.
our hearts are shattered.
we are unsure at this time how much time we have left with her but we know it's not long.
We will ensure to make her as comfortable as possible when they release her to let her spend her remaining days at home
