As many of you know, my father Harlan Robert Jacobs, lost his battle with cancer on Friday, July 31, 2015, a week after he was diagnosed. A sudden loss that we were not prepared for...
He was just 56 years old.
Anyone who knew my father Harlan, knew he was a private man. He never asked for favors or handouts. He was proud. Well, on behalf of my father, I would like to swallow my pride and ask for help.
My father had no life insurance. Like many people, he did not plan on passing away before final arrangements could be made. This has put our family in a tough position. At present, services and cremation costs are at around $7,000, an amount of money we simply do not have. In addition, a sizable amount of hospital bills await payment. We are facing an unsure future.
I love my family very much. And I am not able to help financially, but I can ask anyone who can help take the burden off my mother and our family in this difficult time.
I know she wouldn't ask, because like my father, my mother is a proud woman. But we need some help.
