My name is Taryn Frodge. I am the daughter-in-law of Tim and Charlene Frodge. Tim and Charlene lost their first daughter, Chrissy, 9 years ago. At the time of her death, her 3 children were only 9, 7, and 4 years old. Chrissy did not have insurance so Tim and Charlene took on the responsibility of not only losing their daughter but her funeral expenses in addition to raising their grandchildren. For the past 9 years they have become the mother and father to these kids. You can only imagine the struggles that two senior citizens have faced. While mourning the loss of their own child, they have put their own lives on hold to provide for three young children after already raising six of their own.
Last week tragedy struck again. Another one of their daughters, Lori, passed away leaving behind her 2 children. Again, there is no insurance and Tim and Charlene are left with the the responsibilities of funeral expenses and raising 2 more grandchildren.
Tim and Charlene are now 9 years older. Tim just recently went through quadruple by-pass surgery and is preparing for a future that includes raising four grandchildren. They would NEVER ask for anything from anyone. In fact, they would give the shirts off of their backs to anyone who needed them.
As someone who cares immensely about this family as a whole, I have taken it upon myself to share this story and hopefully find some angels who can help me give back to them, help them provide for these children's lives, education, and possibly provide some relief brought on by the astronomical funeral expenses.
If you are unable to donate, prayers are welcome and greatly appreciated. These two amazing individuals have suffered unimaginable pain, unexpectedly burying two of their children and taking on all of the parental responsibilities associated with raising 5 grandchildren.
