Hi Everyone!

This summer, I've been given a great opportunity to serve with an organization called A Christian Ministry in the National Parks.  ACMNP exists to provide Christian community for those who hang out around the National Parks, whether visiting, living in, or working at.  I've been selected to be part of the team at Denali National Park in Alaska, which, to be honest, is a dream come true!

Spending five months serving with ACMNP will provide me with great opportunities of many kinds!  I'll be interacting with people from all over the globe while working on my leadership abilities and trapsing all over Alaska trying to avoid being eaten by a bear--sounds like a perfect summer!  ;)  This experience will grow and test me in many ways, but I hope that my commitment to move 3,500 miles away from home for almost half a year will be life-changing, both for me and those that I'll come into contact with.

It goes without saying that commitments like this take lots of meticulous planning and budgeting!  I've set a fundraising goal of $1500, and I pray that you'll consider teaming up with me in this endeavor!  Your contributions will help cover travel expenses to Alaska and back like gas, car maintenance, food, and lodging; training expenses like travel and registration costs for our conference in Colorado in mid-April; any ministry costs that may come up along the way; and unforseen living expenses that arise.

I really believe that, this summer, we can change the world!!  Financial support is always needed, but prayerful support and other thoughtful connections/contributions are necessary, as well.  Stay tuned for tangible ways you may support me in those areas! Teamwork makes the dream work!
