UPDATE: Hello friends. This is a difficult post to write, so please understand .
Unfortunately, I didn’t get the best news in Houston. There are no more options for me to try to get rid of the cancer. Although some tumors are stable and haven’t grown much, which is good, most have grown or spread and in areas that can be dangerous for me. Liver, a new brain tumor, spine, and more. It’s pretty much everywhere now and Of course, that means more pain too.
I have been placed in Hospice care now at home. I’m praying that I will be in Hospice for a long time, but, in reality, I don’t know how long I have left. Only God knows when I will die so I will continue to live in love, faith and hope. Of course, spending the last moments of my time on this Earth with my family and friends. Grateful for every day, every breathe, every Day with little to no pain. Every moment with my wonderful husband and kids. I love ❤️ you all and thank you for your support, love, donations, generosity and prayers. God bless.
I am a wife, daughter , sister, friend and mother of three. I was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer in September of 2023 and bone cancer in December 2024. It has been a difficult journey but I wouldn’t be here without the support of my family and friends and by the grace of God. The cancer continues to spread and I am struggling with daily, constant pain. I am out of chemo options as the chemo isn’t working on me anymore and I will begin a clinical trial in Houston in June. I am Praying that this clinical trial will work as this is my last option for treatment. This treatment will require me to live in Houston for a few weeks (maybe longer ) and then fly there once a week for several months. Now that I’m no longer going to be working, we will be down to one income. As we navigate through this new phase of cancer treatment , I’m asking for help to pay for my travel expenses as well as some new medical expenses that won’t be covered by insurance. Of course, prayers are always needed!
**UPDATE: Unfortunately, the cancer has spread to my brain and I no longer qualify for the clinical trial. I have been in the hospital since June 19th as they try to manage my pain and begin treatment for the brain tumor. I also have fractures in my bones which weaken them making them easy to break. They are looking at possible surgery for my arm tumor which causes the most pain, next to the hip/buttocks pain and finally my ribs and back pain. Please continue to pray for me.
