hi, my name is alyse and i’m humbly asking for financial support so i can catch up on my mortgage and prevent foreclosure.

the past two years have been very hard for me and my daughter violet, i separated from her father who i am still currently married to just a year after we purchased a home together, leaving all the financial responsibilities of not only parenting but also maintaining a home on me solely. i’ve taken jobs when and where i can but lack of consistent child care has made it just about impossible to maintain steady employment. i have also tried moving family members in to help with bills and child care but thats failed each time and left me right back where i started trying to do it all alone on barely any income. i’ve tried to apply for housing assistance and grants but since i’m still legally married and my ex is in another country it makes things very complicated.

i recently started working with an attorney to get his name removed from the house which would at least open up some options for us but they said i’ll need to file for a divorce as well which i’m told after filing fees and court costs is going to be at least $5,000. i’m currently two months behind on my mortgage payment and i received a letter today saying that if i don’t pay $3,394 by the 29th of july they will begin the foreclosure process, that number will go up by $1,700 on the first totaling $5,094. i’ve maxed out all of my credit cards trying to keep us afloat these past few months and am unable to get a loan in any amount and just haven’t been able to catch a break in at all.

asking for help is not easy, especially when it comes to finances but i am truly out of options and this is the last hope i have to keep me and my daughter from losing the only place we have to call home.
