Survive Surgery

Hi, my name is Maygin. I'm 36 and a native Floridian. Thursday, Nov 3 I underwent surgery for a full hysterectomy as I had PCOS, fibroids, endometriosis and a few other problems causing me agonizing pain on a daily basis. The surgery was a success, but as anyone in the States knows, it was very expensive. The estimate I received for the hospital alone was $230k. Luckily, and thanks to ACA, I have insurance and don't need to pay the full amount. Unfortunately I still can't afford the fraction of it that I do get billed.

On top of that, I will be unable to work while I recover. I live alone and have no help with rent, food, bills, etc. That's why I'm reaching out on GFM in hopes that anyone can help.
