Toughing It In Memory of Chris Laycock

Chris Laycock passed away peacefully on 1st July 2022 at Willow Wood Hospice who took incredible care of him and his family during his stay. In memory of Chris, his wife Jo and myself have signed up for Tough Mudder 10k on Saturday 22nd October - Chris was a huge fitness fanatic, and this is around his birthday, so perfect timing to force us to get fit. For a good cause!

8 out of every 10 patients that stay at Willow Wood Hospice are cared for under donations, so we'd like to raise as much as we can for them. The staff there massively supported both Jo and me, and we were blown away by the standard of care to make Chris comfortable. They are a fantastic establishment and deserve continued support!

Last October we struggled our way through Tough Mudder in the rain with a tiny bit of preparation training... This time we're doing it in the heat with ZERO training! If you feel sorry for us and fancy chucking in a few quid towards the wonderful Willow Wood in memory of our dear friend/husband we would be very grateful.
