Hey all, I know most of you know me, thus the reason why you're able to see this, but I am hoping that you all share this among friends and family as well. The whole reason for this is due to some recent troubling news. Stacey, my mom, has cancer yet again. Considering the times we are in, we appreciate every wish of healing and every prayer you can send this way.
It's been a hard journey from the last time, one, it seems, that we've only just recovered from, but, if I only can be certain of one thing - it is that Stacey Alexander is one tough mother...she did put up with me for 20 years, so that is a challenge in itself. If anyone in this whole world deserves a little happiness and a long life of it, it's my mom. She's the type of woman to teach her kids to fear nothing when those things scare her herself. (i.e. snakes that we chased the neighborhood boys around with as little girls). Stacey is the type of lady that catches stray cats to find them homes - quite seriously showing symptoms of crazy catlady. She has taught me to stand up for myself and for others, and to never let a stray animal go hungry. She has shown me how special love is, and to know how much it hurts potentially losing that love before you even graduate...and because I don't want that, I hope you would want to help us.
My mother will be going through chemo-therapy soon and as we all know chemo leads to hairloss, but we're in luck! Due to some pretty kick-ass technology, they've discovered a way to help prevent that hairloss with Cold Caps. These devices are amazing with their newfound ability to preserve not only hair, but allow people to BE people. To feel normal and less sick, and not so obviously so. However, these cost $500 to rent/month. I don't want my mom going through these times again feeling sick and alone, so please please please, spread the word, donate, and share some love with the lady I get to claim as my mom, because I know she is worth all the love she gives and more.
