On Saturday, March 12th, 2022, My family purchased a puppy from a woman who stated the puppy had shots and was dewormed, unfortunately this was not the case.  

The first day, the puppy was happy and fairly active. After the third day, he started becoming sick. He began vomiting and defecating blood  and we took him to the emergency vet. They stated he tested positive for canine parovirus.

Parovirus is a deadly, highly contagious disease that can live on surfaces for up to two years. It spreads very easily and attacks young dogs, especially those that are not yet vaccinated. The virus attacks the rapidly dividing cells in bone marrow and quickly spreads to the GI tract and intestines. 

Because of the nature of this parovirus, it is almost guaranteed that the other puppies she was selling are infected with the virus. We contacted animal control and provided them with her information, hoping that they can prevent this heartbreak from happening to another family.

We have exhausted all financial options to come up with a sum this large, this quickly. If you are able, please consider donating to help us treat out puppy and bring him back home.
