Hello family and friends, many of you have reached out wanting to show your love and support for Kim by extending help to our family in this time of need. We cannot tell you how much your kind gestures have touched our hearts. We have set up a go fund me account for donations that will go towards Kim’s medical care during what is expected to be an extended recovery. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, to all of you who donate. Meeting our goal will allow Kim to rest and recover without the burden of worrying about the mounting medical bills.
Kimberly Nieblas has always been an incredibly strong woman, taking pride in her roles as fierce friend, caring daughter, devoted godmother, doating mother of three, loving wife, and dedicated woman of God. Kim has always been the type of person to put the needs of others before her own. She is the rock of her family, so we cannot begin to describe the devastation of almost losing her. Only by the grace of God and the strength Kim finds in Him, was she able to survive a ruptured Aneurysm that almost took her life.
The night of Thursday March 9th 2023 started like any other. Kim and her husband Will were making dinner for the family. With dinner almost complete, Will took a seat to begin a movie and relax after a long day of work while Kim finished up in the kitchen. The evening took an unexpected and frightening turn when Kim, having just ended a phone call with her godson’s mom/comadre Maria, walked over to Will and asked “Can you pray for me?” Kim had begun to feel ill and not at all herself. Being the woman that she is, she turned to the two men she loves most, God and Will, to give her strength. As Will prayed and tried his best to comfort her, Kim’s condition quickly took a turn for the worse. She lost control of her body and collapsed in Will’s arms. Jumping into action, Will immediately called 911 for help. Kim was rush to St. Mary’s Hospital before it was determined that she needed a higher level of care and was airlifted to Loma Linda where she was diagnosed with a ruptured Aneurysm. What has followed, has been a string of life-saving procedures, which have tested her endurance, but Kim soldiers on for the Lord. For the Lord is her strength.
Psalm 28:7-8.
The beginning of Kim’s story could have very well been her end, but thanks to the quick actions of her husband, the skilled medical professionals who tended to her, and God’s ultimate plan Kim has many more chapters to write. We could not be more grateful. Thank you for all of your prayers, love, and donations. We ask that you continue to pray for Kim and our family as we navigate her recovery in the months ahead.
