Help me save Ruby

This is Ruby. She is my 5 year old German Shepherd mix, and my youngest fur baby. Ruby was seen today by the surgeon who confirmed she has a tumor. The good news is the tumor is localized to the top front of her jaw, and is operable. The vet said that while the surgery is definitely necessary, she also recommends her having a CT scan beforehand to see the extent of the tumor and to make sure it hasn’t spread. Ruby will need $4,700 for the surgery. If we are able to also afford the CT scan, that’s an additional $2,800. Combined that’s $7,500. I know this is a lot to ask, but I just can’t afford that kind of medical bill. Ruby is still full of life and the sweetest girl. She is my shadow and follows me everywhere. We just aren’t ready to say goodbye yet. If you can help me and Ruby out in any way, I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much.

On Monday 09/04 this dog momma heard what no dog momma wants to hear. The word tumor. We took our baby to the urgent care for what we thought was just an infected tooth. When we were told she has a tumor I went numb. We are waiting on a call from a surgeon to have a biopsy done to confirm it is cancer. The next step is a CT scan which for a dog can cost upwards of $3,500 because of sedation. We are hoping she is able to then have surgery to have it removed. No one is truly prepared for something like this. Ruby is only 5 and still full of life. Her time on this earth is not over and we need your help saving her. Anything helps.
