Sue's Cancer Journey

Hello! My name is Kristen, and I am the middle child to Sue Holten. On January 22, 2024, we discovered that Sue has esophageal cancer. I created a CaringBridge site to provide status updates as we go on this journey of hers. I have included the link below. Please follow our journey with mom so you can receive updates as we go.

I know that in this challenging economy, things are tight for us all, however, if you are willing to open your hearts to help my mom, we would all appreciate anything.

I am creating this GoFundMe to off-set some of the the costs mom will incur on this treatment/medical journey to relieve some of her stress. My mom is a special education para at the high school and has continued to work up until this point. We will be facing some medical bills and she also will be out of PTO at some point. My mom has always been of service to others and we're hoping to show her that others are willing to reciprocate that love in return. Mom knows she has a Village behind her in the journey. If you are so inclined to help her, we are forever grateful.
