Funeral Cost and Medical Expenses

Hello Everyone, I am starting the GoFundMe campaign for good friends of my family the Dowd/Collard Family.   On March 26th, Robert “Daddy Bob” Dowd was taken to the hospital of emergency surgery for a bowl obstruction.  He came out of surgery okay but not without complications.  (As of today-April 1, he is still in the hospital but is expected to be released to go home.)  Then, on March 30th the unthinkable happened, Sharon came home to find her youngest child, 22 year old Shawn Collard dead (not by suicide but by what I would call a freakish turn of events).  The family is just devastated.  The Dowd/Collard’s are a hard working family, with the most generous heart for those who need them.  It is now our turn to help them.  With the unexpected medical and funeral expenses appearing all at once, they need our help.   I have set this GoFundMe goal at $10,000.  If we raise more that would be awesome but the goal is to help this family during what is a most difficult time that no one should have to go though, loss of a child.
