Hi. If you know us, you know our cat Benny is our life. We are in desperate need of help to keep Benny in our lives. We recently found out Benny is FIV+ (Feline immunodeficiency virus) after taking him in with a high fever. This started on Oct. 13th. We have been able to keep him stable for the most part and even acting like his normal self sometimes. FIV can be managed, however, we haven't been able to find out what is causing the fever.

After doing blood panels, X-rays, Ultrasound and infectious disease panels, the vet is still unable to pinpoint what is causing Benny's FIV to flare up. The next step would be getting an MRI and some more diagnostics done to see what we can pinpoint and how we can start a more specialized treatment. Our main goal is to raise money in order to do the MRI which can start out at $5,000. We really need help in order to keep treatment as an option. As of now, Benny is home and resting. Benny is about 6 now and I've had him that whole time. He is a permanent part of our family and we can't imagine a world without him. Please help us spread the word to keep Benny healthy.
