On February 6, 2021 Jamie Blanek a former Miss Waco, was reportedly rendering aid in a crash when she was hit by a car at approximately 7:55 p.m. where she received severe life threatening injuries that required being airlifted to Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Jamie has already had to go through several surgeries that will require months of recovery as well as rehabilitation and possibly even more surgeries.
Jamie is the daughter of Joe & Mel Blanek who own and operate Blanek's Custom Catering where Jamie also works.
