Aubie Golombek Travel Fund

Aubie Golombek is a Canadian photographer who is going to Paris France in the Fall of 2023 to attend a photography exhibition in which he is the only invited participant from Canada. This prestigious exhibition, Black & White: An Aesthetic of Photography will feature prints from the collection of the Bibliotheque nationale de France (BnF) and was originally to open in April 2020 at the Grand Palais in its Southeast Gallery, but had to be postponed due to the global health situation. Aubie is also the only Canadian invited to participate in a second BnF exhibition running from October 10, 2023 to February 4, 2024, The Immateriality of Photography, where he will have multiple prints in the program. More information: https://www.bnf.fr/fr/agenda/epreuves-de-la-matiere

Aubie's work is greatly appreciated by leading curators and historians in France and has been accepted into the Bibliotheque nationale collection. It is important that he be present at these exhibitions to further his connections and find a gallery to represent him. Aubie has booked a flight to Paris on November 7. All the money raised in this campaign will go directly to Aubie to cover living expenses for a few months.
