Unexpected Medical Expenses

Donation protected
I want to thank everyone for the continued prayers and support. Setting up this account has taken courage and humility to complete. If you know me, then you know that I hate asking for help. I am extremely independent and don't really talk about my health or problems in life. But here I am. Please read, pray, listen to your heart and thank God every day for your blessings.

I have a condition called Pseudotumor Cerebri ( Idiopathic intracranial hypertension), this is what causes my migraines, vision issues, inability to perform cardio exercise, depression, anxiety and other health issues. I live in pain daily. I take several medications multiple times a day to help relieve the pressure on my brain and even injections to help prevent or lower headaches. I have Spinal Taps to drain fluid from my brain every 6 to 8 months, which is not fun at all. I see several specialists for these health issues.

On Wednesday, June 17th, I woke up to get ready for work and was showing Stroke like symptoms. James took me to Hill Regional Hospital where they Transferred me to Providence in Waco by ambulance. There, they performed an emergency Spinal Tap and drained over 10 cc's of fluid off my brain. I was then able to regain motor skills and cognitive skills. I was actually able to talk and make complete sentences within minutes of the pressure release. Unfortunately the pressure has been so high for such an extended amount of time, that I may now have permanent vision loss/ complications. My neurologist is referring me to more specialists including a Neuro Ophthalmologist to see if the damage is reversible or if my optic nerves are permanently damaged. Due to the issues and multiple doctor visits, procedures and tests over the next several weeks, I am having to be on bed rest and on leave from work. This is going to be a huge financial, emotional and physical strain. I will be seeing specialists in Dallas and Houston, so driving, gas, food, possibly lodging are all added expenses that were definitely not in my budget for the month.

So, here I am, asking my friends and family to please help in any way possible. Whether it be with monetary donations, prayers, thoughts, anything. I am forever grateful and indebted to you all.

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. Please keep Ann and Zoe in your prayers as well. They are having a hard time understanding that mommy isn't up for a whole lot of activity right now. And they are scared of the upcoming procedures, hospital stays, doctor bills and uncertainty.
