Connor Meekins support fund

Hi, we're Connors mom and dad. He decided to come very early (24 weeks) which caught us off guard in every way, especially financially.  We live on Cape Hatteras, North Carolina but he is in the Childrens Hospital of the Kings Daughters in Norfolk Virginia, a 2.5 hour drive one way from us.  We were in the middle of getting medicaid squared away when he made his unplanned entrance into the world so we're going to end up having to face some medical bills for that gap that they wont pay and also some that they just don't cover.  We want to spend as much time as we can with him but the fact that i'm not working right now has got us in a tight spot with having to pay gas and food for someone to take us all up there. That averages 75-100bucks per trip and he's going to be there for a few months.  He's a little wiggle worm and looks good but he has developed a bleed on his brain which is scary to say the least. We'd like to get up to see him as much as possible before the work season kicks in and we don't have the time. Having to swallow our pride to ask for help hurts and having to choose an amount to ask for was even worse but we decided to suck it up. Any help in any amount is greatly appreciated.
