We Care for Kayla

Kayla Petersen is a Junior Girl Scout in Troop 42606, and St. Catherine of Siena student.  Kayla wasn't feeling herself since we last saw her before the quarantine, and became progressively weaker, resulting in a stay at Children's Hospital.  Kayla was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, a blood disorder where the bone marrow fails to produce adequate number of blood cells.  Besides her fatigue and other symptoms, she has very low immunity.  Kayla is receiving treatments and infusions, and being very brave.  Our Go Fund Me campaign will help her Mom and Dad, Gaye and Roch, cover medical expenses and other family expenses they incur during this time when they are caring for Kayla's medical needs.  We all Care for Kayla, and hope you can help her family out in any small way.  We pray for Kayla's healing and can't wait for her to join us again on our Girl Scout Adventures.
