On Sunday September 19th, Michael was involved in a tragic freak accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury. He has so far underwent 2 major brain surgeries. Shortly after his first surgery he began to decline and needed a second emergency surgery to save his life. His second surgery included removing the majority of his right temporal lobe because it was so badly damaged.
Michael is still with us and fighting hard, he is currently being kept sedated to allow his brain time to heal and decrease the swelling in his brain. He is making very small improvements daily but has a very long road ahead to recovery.
Any and all funds collected will go towards all of the aftercare and therapies that Michael is going to need in order to have a successful recovery.
