Asalamualikum,

This Ramadan we have decided to raise money for poor families. The situation in many countries is getting worse as people are unable to afford basic necessities. We aim to use the funds towards:

1. Food - buying groceries and preparing food parcels.

2. Water - provide water to areas with water scarcity.

3. Iftaar meals - donate iftaar meals to people fasting during Ramadan.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is reported to have said, “Whoever feeds a fasting person will earn the same reward as him without diminishing in any way the reward of the fasting person.” This hadith encourages Muslims to feed those who are hungry, especially during Ramadan.
