Hey everyone, it has been a nightmare of a weekend. I just want to share a horrible freak accident that happened to me and my family. Some of you may know, we decided to pack up and move to Florida! Well, the moving truck that had every bit of our life packed up into got into a tragic accident that caused the truck to hit the guard rail, flipping it over, spewing all of our furniture, family heirlooms, clothing, etc onto the highway. We were told by the state trooper on the scene that mostly everything was covered in diesel fuel and not salvageable. Our minds and hearts first went out to the driver of the truck who is in critical condition at a hospital in Illinois. Please pray for his family as he was a kind human, a loving husband and a caring father to his son. Dalton got to meet this man and spent the prior day together loading up the truck. As for our life and where we go from here— I can’t even begin to find the words. The crib we brought Archie home to the first night home from the hospital, gone. The dining room table we shared meals and laughter together, gone. Our entire life in a box, destroyed and gone for forever. Unfortunately, we are not in the position to replenish these meaningful assets. With this, I want to ask for prayers, and any financial help at this time. We are blessed to see another day and to have our family be healthy, but our hearts ache for the family of the truck driver and will continue to pray for his recovery.
