Hello, friends and family! I have recently been blessed with the opportunity of a lifetime, and that is to join as a student of the inaugural class of IAMT (Institute for American Musical Theatre) with a 50% scholarship! I could never be happier to have found my next step toward the dream of performing. I will be working with current Broadway performers only two blocks from Broadway itself to improve knowlege and skill in singing, dancing and acting in a two-year program that has it's grand opening in the Fall! Only one thing, though -- this means I'm moving to New York City in a few short months (school starts August 29th, eek!). With so little time, I am scrambling to make sure I find a place to work and live before getting there. I am simply reaching out to you, friends and family, for any help you are willing to give. With the scholarship, school is taken care of, but I am gathering funds and saving up to make the 2,600 mile treck to get there, find a place to get settled and get started (and with what I hear about New York, every nickle counts!).
