The Miller family needs our help!
To know Chris Miller is to know a person who lives to serve others! I have been his neighbor and friend for 10 years. I have witnessed first hand his love for my whole family, neighbors, friends, and most recently orphans throughout the world through Back2Back Ministries.
My journey for the past 10 years has included two bouts of Acute Myeloid Leukemia and a successful bone marrow transplant last December. I know what it feels like to have a health crisis and unending medical bills. I was blessed when friends set up and contributed to a Go Fund Me page for my family. With a heavy heart, I’m here to share with you that our dear friend Chris is now fighting for his life with stage 4 colon cancer.
Since the diagnosis in April, Chris has endured multiple surgeries and sadly multiple setbacks. The doctors have mapped out a 5-year treatment plan to win this battle against cancer. This will include 2 additional surgeries, chemotherapy, along with routine examinations and treatments. As you can imagine the medical expenses are overwhelming. While Chris' family has healthcare coverage, their medical expenses represent over $130,000 over the next 5 years. Chris and his wife Kristy have two beautiful children, Lydia and Carson who are in high school. To know this family is to love them.
