We are writing to you with a heavy heart. As some of you know, we recently lost our dad, Walter Alvarez. Walter was a loving family member, true friend, caring neighbor, and lively member of his former village, Sinjana, Guam.

This sudden loss has left us with some unexpected bills for the funeral. We want to give our dad a proper send-off while easing the financial burden off our mom, Josephine.
