BIG UPDATE! On September 12, 2022, after 37 days of slow but steady progress in the ICU at BMC, Meg moved to the Step Down Unit yesterday. Although they are located on the same floor, this is a big trip for Meg. She still has a long journey ahead of her but this is another positive step toward returning home to all of her boys.

On August 8, 2022, Meg suffered a brain aneurysm while watching two of her boys play hockey at a local rink. After being taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, she was airlifted to Boston Medical Center where she was given a 10% chance of survival.

Three weeks later, through the grace of God, the power of prayer, and sheer determination, Meg is battling her way back. She is supported every day by her husband Walter - her love and her

rock - along with their four wonderful young sons Walter, Max, Benjamin, and Harrison.

Since that terrible day, she’s been in the ICU showing all the doctors and nurses signs of the feisty old Meg we know and love, a trait we trust will help her on the long road ahead. What this road looks like remains to be seen, but together we’re all praying that Meg will return home soon to everyone who loves her.
