On October 7th, 2025, my sister Tasha gave birth to her beautiful baby boy, Lehi. What was supposed to be one of the happiest moments of her life quickly turned terrifying. Shortly after birth, baby Lehi had to be life-flighted to Sutter Hospital because he had passed meconium before birth and was struggling to breathe.
Lehi has been fighting so hard since day one. He’s made wonderful progress — he’s been taken off CPAP, started eating breast milk, and continues to get stronger each day. But at his most recent discharge check, he failed and wasn’t able to come home yet.
Tasha has been by his side every single day, but she’s now out of money for lodging, food, gas, and daily expenses while staying near the hospital. She’s a devoted mom doing everything she can, but the cost of being away from home and unable to work has become too much to bear alone.
We’re asking for help so Tasha can continue to stay close to Lehi while he heals. Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward:
A safe place to stay near the hospital
Food and travel costs
Basic essentials for baby Lehi once he’s home
Tasha and Lehi deeply appreciate every bit of love, support, and prayer sent their way. Let’s help this strong mama stay close to her little fighter until he’s ready to come home where he belongs.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, sharing, and supporting.
