G'day - Kos family here with a special request for our beloved brother and son Dan.

Saturday 5th July will be a day Dan never forgets. What was meant to be a fun weekend of riding dirtbikes with his kids turned into a catastrophic event which has changed his life forever.

After a lap of the track went wrong, Dan lay for 2 hours on the dirt surrounded by loved ones, waiting to be air-lifted to RBWH where he remains in a critical condition today.

Not only were Dan's injuries life-threatening, but also life-altering.

We've recently found out that Dan suffered one of the most serious spinal injuries the RBWH has seen - severing his spinal cord so badly that he will never regain movement in his lower body.

Dan is a self-employed builder and father to two wonderful young boys. He's got a long, painful and expensive road to recovery and we need your help.

We are raising money to help support Dan and his kids in this journey, including relocation costs to get him into the Brisbane's best spinal unit and to help him navigate the many challenges ahead.

Dan won't let this beat him - he's just not that kind of guy. But we need your help to make sure that he's in the best place getting the best treatment for the best possible outcome.
