Hi Friends!

Many of you know Leeann. For some she was a colleague, some of you may have had her as a teacher, and for others she's taught our children. She's taught at St. Mary's in St. Clair for decades, and was the art teacher for Holy Cross, St. Mary/McCormick in Port Huron.

Many of you know Jim from his tech job at a local school district, or maybe you're a member of his amazing family, church family, or circle of friends.

Recently, Jim recieved a devastating terminal diagnosis, Amyotrphic Lateral Sclerosis. Also known as ALS or Lou Gherigs Disease. During their 22 year marriage, Jim and Leeann have adopted 6 AMAZING kids out of the foster care system(ages 4-13 currently), all with varying levels of special needs. They are active in their community and church, and are always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it.

Now, they're the ones in need. They are faced with medical bills and eventual loss of employment for Jim. Leeann will become not only a caregiver to their kids, but for Jim as well. As a result, Leeann will be unable to work, leaving them without an income.

Our goal is to raise money to help ease the stress that comes with a long term, terminal diagnosis, and set these kids up with money for future medical care or college.

Jim has expressed that his biggest fear is how Leeann and the kids will be taken care of in the future. Any donations will help!
