Hello and thank you for taking the time to stop in and read about me.
My name is Jarrad, I'm 33 and this year I've been diagnosed with inoperable oespohageal and pancreatic cancer. My medical team have prepared me for the reality that my life span is going to be less than two years.
I guess the most important thing for you to know is what made me seek the help of generous people like yourself through Go Fund Me!
It's pretty simple really. I've had one ambition and pleasure most of my life and that is to travel and see other parts of the world and meet amazing people. Problem is I now have only a short time to do it!
I don't have expensive taste or crazy ideas about what I need to do, but while I still have the capacity to travel and enjoy my independance I want to sieze the day.
My vocation has been hospitality all my life, and I never anticiapated I would need savings for such a signicifact life changing diagnosis such as terminal cancer.
My goal now is to travel. The hospital staff are happy to schedule my chemotherapy and radiotherapy between travel plans - so now I need to make those plans.
I'm not ashamed to be asking for help, because if I don't ask I'm simply not going to have the opportunity to live out my life long dream of travelling beyond Australia. If you're in a position to help in any small way without compromising your own comfort and life goals I would be so grateful and humbled by your generosity.
Thank you again for taking the time to read about my situation. I'm remaining positive and have wonderful emotional support from my friends.
Warm regards to you
Jarrad Williams
