April 22 marks four months that Julie has been in the hospital as a result of Covid and its complications.
Please read her story...
Julie is a kindhearted, giving and compassionate person. She has dedicated her life to helping others: serving on the mission field in Haiti for several years; volunteering at her church-including missions trips to Bolivia; volunteering at a youth camp and now is a nurse practitioner helping people in need. She is a woman who loves the Lord, her family and friends and who has a smile and laugh that others are drawn to…she is a blessing to so many and now she is in a battle for her life.
Julie tested positive for Covid on December 15 and was admitted to the hospital on December 22 - April 22 marks four months that Julie has been in the hospital. She spent Christmas in the hospital, as well as her birthday in January. She’s been in the ICU, sedated and on a ventilator for a month, now having a trach for her breathing. While in the hospital, she’s battled: pneumonia, an infection around her brain and numerous other Covid related issues.
Julie is currently on the rehabilitation floor of the hospital and has a long road ahead of her. The doctor believes that her recovery and rehabilitation will not be measured in weeks, but could possibly be measured in months. Julie is a strong lady, but even the strong need help at times.
How can you be a blessing to Julie?
Would you please pray for Julie? Pray for strength and healing from this horrible disease. Pray for comfort and peace for her parents, for the medical staff and all of those that are fighting Covid.
How can you be a blessing to Julie?
Would you please consider giving a financial gift to help Julie? To be honest, I don’t know how much of Julie’s medical bills will be covered by her insurance or what the situation is for Julie receiving disability, but there is no doubt there will be financial needs (and there has been) as she moves forward in this journey, including keeping up-to-date with living expenses as she recovers. Any amount you feel led to give would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your prayers, generosity… and being a blessing to Julie!
