I am Hussein, an 18-year-old Palestinian young man from Gaza. I lost my father in 2014, and since then, life has become a greater responsibility for my mother, who struggles alone to raise me and my two sisters.

Since October 7, our lives have changed completely. We lost our home as a result of the bombing and moved to live in a tent that neither protects us from the heat of the summer nor the cold of the winter, nor from the constant danger around us. Our education has stopped, and our simple dreams of a safe and stable life have faded. Today, we ask those with compassionate hearts to support us during this ordeal.
