Dear Friends and Family,

It is with great joy that we share the arrival of Baby Elijah Jack, but we also come to you with a heartfelt request for support.

Baby Jack was born on January 31, 2025, with Double Intet Left Ventricle, Aortic Valve Atresia and L Transposed Great Arteries—a rare and critical congenital heart defect in which the aortic valvular cusps are fused at birth, preventing proper blood flow throughout his body.

Shortly after birth, Baby Jack experienced breathing and feeding complications and was flown to Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, where doctors determined that he will need a minimum of two open-heart surgeries within his first four months of life to repair his heart—the first of which is scheduled within the next two weeks.

As the Montalvo family navigates this incredibly difficult journey, we would love to come together to show our love and support for them. Any contribution—whether financial, through prayers, positive thoughts, or well wishes—will mean the world to precious Baby Jack and his family.

Es con gran alegría que compartimos la llegada del bebé Elijah Jack, pero también acudimos a ustedes con una sincera solicitud de apoyo. Baby Jack nació el 31 de enero de 2025 con doble intestino del ventrículo izquierdo, atresia de la válvula aórtica y grandes arterias L transpuestas, un defecto cardíaco congénito raro y crítico en el que las cúspides valvulares aórticas se fusionan al nacer, lo que impide el flujo sanguíneo adecuado por todo el cuerpo.  

Poco después de nacer, Baby Jack tuvo complicaciones respiratorias y alimentarias y fue trasladado en avión al Hospital Infantil Driscoll en Corpus Christi, donde los médicos determinaron que necesitará un mínimo de dos cirugías a corazón abierto dentro de sus primeros cuatro meses de vida para reparar su corazón, la primera de las cuales está programada para las próximas dos semanas.  

Mientras la familia Montalvo atraviesa este viaje increíblemente difícil, nos gustaría unirnos para mostrarles nuestro amor y apoyo. Cualquier contribución, ya sea financiera, a través de oraciones, pensamientos positivos o buenos deseos, significará mucho para el precioso Baby Jack y su familia.
