Everyone meet Kali, our 3-year-old rottweiler. Our sweet baby has been with us for almost three years after finding her from a family who had an accidental litter. Kali is the most lovable, goofy dog and our entire world.
This last year has been very hard for Kali. She tore her CCL which required surgery back in August. She was just about done recovering from that when we noticed an anal prolapse. Then we noticed a small lump that grew to a tennis ball sized lump impairing her breathing. Several different ER and specialist visits later, Kali was diagnosed with Lymphoma.
In the span of three weeks she went from being a happy and healthy puppy to having stage 5 lymphoma spread through her whole system.
We’re trying to do everything we can to help get her through this process that includes 6 months of chemo treatments and chronic medications to try and get her to remission.
After getting getting her CCL fixed we only had $2,000 left of coverage for her insurance plan. That covered her ER visits and specialist visits until they finally found the diagnoses.
This is coming at the worst possible time as her insurance doesn’t reset for the year until the end of summer and we’ve spent our savings on her remaining expenses which is why we're asking for any help you can provide, whether it's prayers or donations. Kali is a part of our family, and she means the absolute world to us.
Given how young she is, we think she has a really good chance of responding well so she can have a more time living the life she was supposed to have.
The money we're asking for will help pay for the rest of her chemotherapy and medications and anything extra we will donate to local animal shelters. Kali has a long road ahead of her but we're hopeful that we can get her through this.
We really appreciate any help you can give to save our precious little girl.
