Hello — my name is Malachi (19), and my family just watched in horror as a fire ripped through our home—destroying nearly everything we owned in minutes.

On 10/12/2025, what was supposed to be a routine day turned into a nightmare. A grease fire — one we never saw coming — ignited while I was at work. By the time help arrived, the flames had already consumed most of what made our house a home.

We lost:

Almost all of our clothes — everything from everyday wear to special items we can’t replace

Furniture, bedding, and kitchen items — the things you need to live

Personal keepsakes, photos, and memories — heirlooms, mementos, things with sentimental value

Food in our home — things we planned on using for weeks

Part of our living space structure was damaged, making rooms unsafe

Everything that gave us comfort and security

We’re left with nothing but the clothes we were wearing and the hope that others will help us rebuild.

My mom and I have always tried to do things on our own, but this time — we can’t. We’re asking for help from generous hearts like yours. Every dollar matters. If you can, please contribute, share, and pray for us in this dark time. We will rebuild. We will recover. But we can’t do it alone.

God bless you.
