HKT's FIRST plot!
Donation protected
Eta Kappa Tau Engineering and Technology Fraternity, Inc. Alpha Chapter, was founded at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University by Shanae' N. Sharp -James, with the assistance of the "Seven Wonders" (Executive Board), she was able to establish this organization in March 2000. Eta Kappa Tau is currently looking to add a new addition to the family! The new addition to the family has been long awaited and is finally on the way, of course with the help of your generous donations. The new addition would be Eta Kappa Tau's very own stone plot, to not only solidify our presence on campus, but for our members to come together as one, reconnect alumni with new members, and symbolize honor for the past and future generations of members!
One of the most prominent symbols of Black Greek Letter Organizations or Non-Greek Letter Organizations on college campuses are plots. Plots symbolically represent the organization and can appear in various forms. Most are brick or concrete structures that are built to commemorate the organization. Colors play an integral part of the plots and are representative of the organization - usually containing the organizations letters. Other types of plots contain national and local founding dates, and the names of the charter members of the organization. Plots, especially at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, play a central role in the culture of Black fraternities and sororities.
So with help of donations and social media, PLEASE help us reach our goal in raising the funds to add to HKT's astounding presence and extraordinary legacy on the campus of Alabama A&M University!
