Help Denise Recover from a Life-Altering Stroke

Denise recently suffered a life-altering stroke and has been admitted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN, where she is receiving specialized medical treatment. Regions Hospital is renowned for its expertise in treating stroke patients. While the road to recovery will be long and difficult, we remain hopeful.

The stroke has significantly impacted Denise’s speech, mobility, and strength on the right side of her body. The medical team explained that multiple blockages in her neck forced her body to reroute blood to the brain through other veins. Unfortunately, a piece of plaque dislodged within these veins, traveled to the brain, and caused the stroke. Surgery was not an option due to the high risk of triggering another stroke. Her treatment plan now focuses on rehabilitation to regain speech, mobility, and strength at the Regions Hospital In-Patient Rehabilitation Centre.
